But from 29 October, SIA will be offering three extra flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing from Paris in the early evening and arriving in Singapore in the early afternoon of the following day. This is a real plus for business travellers, who will be able to travel at times that will help them to cope with the jet lag. During winter 2017-2018, these new flights, as well as the current seven weekly flights, will be operated by Boeing B777-300ER quad-class aircraft, including a Premium Economy cabin, launched at the end of 2015 on Paris-Singapore flights. Champagne will be served before departure, as in Business. Above all, there are more spacious seats than in Economy - almost 50 cm wide - in a 2-4-2 seat configuration. Nothing compares, of course, with the 86 cm leather seats in Singapore Airlines' famous Business Class, some of the most comfortable on the market and which transform into real beds with duvets. Better still, but in the wildest dreams, you can also aim for First Class, pure luxury. Four of the twelve Suites can be converted into a double bed. SIA is now offering an Internet and mobile service on board its A380s, A330s and Boeing 777s.
Tel: 0821 230 380 (0.12 e/mn).
Internet: www.singaporeair.com

AIR FRANCE operates a daily flight between Paris CDG and Changi, with night flights in both directions. The airline has also signed a codeshare agreement with Singapore Airlines for its flights from Singapore to Melbourne and Sydney, as well as the routes operated by SilkAir from the City-State to Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Phuket.
Tel.: 0 892 70 26 54
Internet: www.airfrance.fr

TO FIND OUT MORE

Singapore Tourism Board in London >
Singapore Centre First Floor, Southwest House 11A Regent Street, London SW1Y 4LR, UK - Tel: +44 20 7484 2710 - Internet : www.visitsingapore.com
French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore >
541 Orchard Street - Tel: +65 67 35 55 23 - Email : info@fccsingapore.com - Internet : www.fccsingapore.com
Business France Singapore - French Trade Commission - Embassy of France in Singapore > 101-103 Cluny Park Road Tel: +65 6880 7898 - Email : singapour@businessfrance.fr

HOTELS

Ritz-Carlton Millenia

Ludovic Maisant

With 4,200 works of contemporary art by Damien Hirst and Andy Warhol among others, the Ritz-Carlton is a veritable museum. And with good reason, this 5 km2 still reserves a few areas of pure serenity. The island's inhabitants include peacocks, parrots, lizards and monkeys, who stroll nonchalantly across the thick lawns or twirl in the canopy. A few white sandy beaches dot this almost idyllic landscape, where the waters are warm... but not always clear, no doubt due to the many supertankers that can be seen offshore. For the business traveller, Sentosa is a great place to stay, with no fewer than 14 hotels located in a privileged environment, just a ten-minute drive from the city centre.
But Sentosa, self-proclaimed 'The State of Fun', is also, and above all, an exuberant place to get away from it all, with a plethora of improbable activities: a chairlift ride followed by a descent on grass at the Skyline Luge, at the Mega adventure park, a zip line from the top of a hill to a tiny island. Or you could opt for a visit to the Universal Studios theme park, segway rides or, more selectively, yacht trips. To get there, you can of course opt for an ordinary taxi, but the best way is to reach Sentosa from the mainland and the famous Mont Faber by... cable car.
We'll fly over the rainforest, then a water park where the swimmers, installed in kitsch slides, look like multicoloured playmobils.
More information : <a href="http://www.sentosa.com.sg" target="_blank" rel="noopener
