GETTING THERE<\/h2>\n
SINGAPORE AIRLINES<\/strong> currently offers seven weekly flights between Paris and Singapore, operated by A380. But from 29 October, SIA will be offering three extra flights on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing from Paris in the early evening and arriving in Singapore in the early afternoon of the following day. This is a real plus for business travellers, who will be able to travel at times that will help them to cope with the jet lag. The result is flavours to die for, in particular blends of coconut and keffir lime - that fragrant lemon leaf - which give a great finesse to fish, pork or beef stews. It's sublime, especially as the desserts are also a masterpiece. Which is why this chef more than deserves his very first Michelin star. You can choose to dine either in the elegant dining room designed by Andre Fu or on the balcony, which allows you to enjoy both the beautiful grounds of the Capella hotel and the Singapore skyline in the distance. Another establishment to explore in the fledgling National Gallery, this Peranakan-inspired restaurant distils sweet and spicy flavours in a charmingly retro setting. Book well in advance. Housed in a 1930s church built for the British military, White Rabbit is as much about its setting as its food. Now beautifully renovated, Perched at the top of the tallest of the Singapore Botanic Garden's 'super trees', 50 m above the ground, this corolla-shaped outdoor bar is a magical sight.
