According to this survey carried out with YouGov, 72% of French professionals consider the prospect of regular travel as a factor to be taken into account when deciding to join a company. The criterion of business travel would nevertheless be outstripped by healthcare cover and working hours. In addition, 76% of business travellers believe that it is an aspect of their job that makes them proud, according to American Express. French companies are unanimously in favour of business travel, with 93% of those surveyed appreciating the fact that they travel for work.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the psychological dimension, professionals are pragmatic about the benefits of business travel: 84% of those surveyed consider that face-to-face meetings help them to achieve their business objectives. A comfortable majority of respondents (62%) believe that a reduction in travel would give an advantage to competing companies.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>the possibility of making business trips remains a source of pride for employees<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\" <em>Managing its business travel policy is key for a company, both from an HR and a commercial point of view.<\/em>\u00a0\"Fabienne Cauli, General Manager, Global Client Group, International at American Express. \"\u00a0<em>It can even be the key to success, as it helps to improve relations with customers and prospects, and to develop the knowledge and curiosity of teams so that they can ultimately achieve their business objectives. Interestingly, at a time when teleworking is on the increase, the ability to travel on business remains a source of pride for employees, and even an asset when it comes to joining a company.
