Taxify's arrival in Paris has been brewing for a few weeks now. Since 10 o'clock this Thursday morning, it's official: the chauffeur-driven vehicle (VTC) booking application is available in the capital. The platform already boasts 5,000 registered drivers, and intends to compete head-on with the giant Uber. Its \"secret\": an attractive price structure and, above all, an upgrade in the status of drivers. On the first point, Taxify is immediately launching a discount of 50 % for the whole month of October. As for the relationship with its drivers - regularly criticised by Uber - the newcomer assures us: \"\u00a0Taxify treats drivers with respect, in particular by allowing them to receive higher remuneration than on other competing platforms.\u00a0<\/em>\". Taxify's managers talk about a commission of 15 %<\/strong> taken from the driver - \"\u00a0almost half that of its biggest competitors\u00a0<\/em>\"we explain - and insist on this credo: \"\u00a0Happy drivers are bound to deliver a better quality of service to passengers.<\/em>\u00a0\". Users will have access to a 24-hour customer service and will be able to pay in cash.<\/p>\n
