L'<strong>Hotel Riga<\/strong>the Latvian capital's meeting place for the intelligentsia, rebuilt in the 1950s after being totally demolished during the Second World War, has entered a new era in <strong>last October<\/strong> under the leadership of <strong>Kempinski luxury group<\/strong>. Situated just opposite the opera house and close to the Unesco-listed city centre, the hotel's facilities include <strong>141 rooms<\/strong> and its interiors. This opening heralds other prestigious developments for the Swiss-born brand. A <strong>Dubai<\/strong>after his legendary <strong>Mall of the Emirates<\/strong> and its resort on <strong>Palm Jumeirah<\/strong>Kempsinki will open in <strong>Spring 2018<\/strong> a new luxury hotel, again on the artificial Palm archipelago. In addition to its <strong>389 rooms and suites<\/strong>the Emerald Palace will offer <strong>six restaurants<\/strong> - including 'Mix', the only one in the Emirates to be supervised by <strong>Alain Ducasse<\/strong> -There's also a huge Cinq Mondes spa and a cinema. Not far from there, at <strong>Muscat<\/strong>In the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, Kempinski is also planning a resort stretching along two kilometres of beach, housed in the Al Mouj marina, for early next year. On the programme: <strong>310 rooms and suites<\/strong>all with <strong>private pools<\/strong>There are 70 long-stay residences and an 18-hole golf course designed by Greg
