The carrier's latest announcement confirms this trend, with 15 new destinations joining the airline's French catalogue in 2018. This expansion will involve several business destinations, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/tel-aviv-sea-tech-fun-20170403.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Tel Aviv<\/strong><\/a>. The Israeli airport - where easyJet claims leadership - will be linked to three French cities: Nice, Lyon and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bordeaux-renaissance-grande-vitesse-20170703.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bordeaux<\/a>. The Gironde platform, recently designated as the <strong>easyJet's sixth base in France<\/strong>will benefit from a total of seven new routes. These include Tel Aviv, Bastia, Catania, Faro and Heraklion, <strong>Luxembourg<\/strong>and <strong>London<\/strong> Southend.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, easyJet will be launching a new cross-city route between the airports of <strong>Rennes<\/strong> and <strong>Lyon<\/strong> St-Exup\u00e9ry, with weekly flights. \"\u00a0<em>A key new destination for business travellers in particular, who account for <strong>over 22 % of easyJet passengers in France<\/strong> and more than 18 % in Lyon<\/em>\u00a0\"The company's managers are quick to point out.<\/p>\n<p>These route openings will enable easyJet to pass the symbolic milestone of 250 destinations on the French market.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_68583\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-68583\" style=\"width: 700px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/easyJet-2018.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-68583\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/easyJet-2018.jpg\" alt=\"easyJet\" width=\"700\" height=\"755\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/easyJet-2018.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/easyJet-2018-278x300-derived.jpg 278w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-68583\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The 15 new easyJet destinations from France<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\" <em>France is a key market for easyJet and we are committed to offering our French passengers a wide choice of destinations.\u00a0<\/em>\"reminds <strong>Fran\u00e7ois Bacchetta<\/strong>easyJet's Managing Director for France. \"\u00a0<em>In 2017, we transported <strong>18.8 million passengers<\/strong>which is 12 % more than last year.
