Hyatt Centric, the lifestyle arm of the American group targeting millennials, is expanding into Asia-Pacific with the opening of a hotel in Tokyo. \"The Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo is the brand's nineteenth establishment worldwide<\/a> and is the first hotel in the Asia-Pacific region. We are delighted with this development and hope it continues.<\/em>\"said Sam Sakamura, Hyatt's Vice President for Japan.<\/p>\n

To make its debut in the Japanese capital, Hyatt Centric has moved into the twelve floors of the former headquarters of the major national daily Asahi Shimbun, founded in 1888 in the Ginza district. In the heart of Tokyo's shopping and entertainment hotspot<\/strong>The Hyatt Centric offers 164 rooms and suites with a work desk. The contemporary interior, designed by Yohei Akao, has an arty feel, both in the lobby and in the rooms. Of particular note is the Namiki Suite on the top floor, with its terrace and teppanyaki, which can also be booked as a meeting room. The hotel also has a restaurant, Namiki667, serving original local cuisine, as well as a lounge bar.<\/p>\n
