Qantas has announced the <strong>22 February<\/strong> that a multi-million dollar renovation plan was to be launched in the airline's Business Lounge. The design of the new space, conceived by <strong>David Caon<\/strong> and the firm <strong>Bates Smart<\/strong>The renovation will significantly increase the capacity of the airport. In addition, the refurbishment will result in a significant increase in capacity of up to <strong>30% additional seating capacity<\/strong>. Qantas is also planning to improve its culinary offering for business travellers by entrusting the keys to the kitchen to Australian chef <strong>Neil Perry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>one of the most visited trade shows in the network<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\"\u00a0<em>Our Business Lounge in Sydney is one of the most visited lounges in the international network, so we're looking forward to improving this space with a brand new design and much more capacity.<\/em>\u00a0\"explains <strong>Alan Joyce<\/strong>CEO of the Qantas Group.<\/p>\n<p>According to the roadmap unveiled by the Australian airline on Thursday, renovation work is due to start in the third quarter, and will be completed by the end of 2019.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Qantas is preparing to renovate its lounge for international business travellers at Sydney Airport.
