Unsurprisingly, rail users are looking for information to enable them to <strong>organise and optimise their travel<\/strong>. According to the results of this\u00a0<strong>survey published on 15 March<\/strong>40% of passengers would like to plan their journeys better, and 16% their business trips. In addition, 59% of those surveyed fear being badly informed about delays, and 38% are worried about platform changes. Against this backdrop - which is all the more sensitive given that many <strong>new disruptions<\/strong> are to be expected on the SNCF network - applications are of course playing a decisive role, and are generating high expectations. In fact, a large majority of passengers (74%) believe that mobile applications help them to organise their day-to-day lives better, and 45% of those questioned expect these 'apps' to provide information in the event of timetable or platform changes.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Work, leisure, family, any reason is good for travelling, moving, discovering, meeting new people...<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Asked to comment on the results of the Trainline study, <strong>Pascal Lardellier<\/strong>a sociologist specialising in new technologies and their social, cultural and relational uses, explains: \"\u00a0<em>We are living in an era of accelerated mobility, both in France and throughout Europe. <strong>Work, leisure, family<\/strong>There's no better reason to travel, move, discover and meet new people. Of course, we organise our journeys with the help of dedicated apps, just as we use them to manage many of our travel arrangements. <strong>logistical details<\/strong>. What we ask of these apps is that they be simple, functional and effective. Are they all? Not for sure. Not to mention the fact that it would seem logical to combine all the functions in a single interface, which is not always the case at present. In short, where travellers expect simplicity and speed, they are often faced with a waste of time that generates real
