The latest publication on the subject is by Egencia, and has the advantage of being based on a vast international sample. The study - soberly entitled <strong>\"Egencia Bleisure Trends<\/strong> - surveyed no fewer than 9,000 Egencia users in North America, Asia Pacific and Europe. As with the last <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bleisure-national-car-rental-20180223.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">survey published by National Car Rental<\/a> In the US market, it appears that not all business travellers have a clear conscience when it comes to combining business with pleasure. According to Egencia, one in five business travellers (20%) have given up adding leisure time because of employer perceptions. The trend is particularly marked in Asia, where the proportion rises to one third of respondents (32%), compared to 20% in North America and only 15% in Europe.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>perhaps the time has come to include bleisure in travel programmes<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For <strong>Wendy White<\/strong>Vice President of Marketing at Egencia, this obstacle to bleisure can be exploited by the company, by offering an additional argument to human resources to attract the best candidates: \" <em>The fact that many business travellers have given up the possibility of taking bleisure-type trips because of the way they would be perceived by their employers is a real recruitment lever.<\/em> \"says Wendy White. \"\u00a0<em>Now that companies are prioritising work-life balance, it may be time to include bleisure in travel programmes, invest in employee development and encourage employees to make every trip count.<\/em> \".<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new
