{"id":72441,"date":"2018-04-07T10:54:40","date_gmt":"2018-04-07T08:54:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=72441"},"modified":"2021-04-01T13:35:47","modified_gmt":"2021-04-01T11:35:47","slug":"eurostar-rotterdam-amsterdam-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/eurostar-rotterdam-amsterdam-london","title":{"rendered":"Eurostar brings Rotterdam and Amsterdam closer to London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>4 April,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/eurostar-londres-bruxelles-rames-e320-20170524.html\/\">Eurostar<\/a> began its routes at <strong>300 km\/h<\/strong> between <strong>London St Pancras<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/rotterdam-port-dattache-archi-design-20161004.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Rotterdam<\/strong> <\/a>- joined in <strong>3h01<\/strong> -and then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/amsterdam-navigation-en-3-0-20180404.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amsterdam <\/a>which will be reached in 3 hours 41 minutes. Offered with <strong>two trains a day<\/strong> to begin with, at 8.31am and 5.31pm from the British capital, this new high-speed rail service is available from <strong>40\u20ac one way<\/strong> in Standard class, <strong>90,50\u20ac<\/strong> in Business Standard and <strong>299\u20ac<\/strong> in Business Premier.<\/p>\n<h3>Correspondence to Brussels for a security check<\/h3>\n<p>While the service is direct in the London\/Netherlands direction, passengers in the other direction will have to travel first in <strong>TGV Thalys<\/strong> to <strong>Brussels Midi<\/strong> to carry out the <strong>controls <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/singapour-meilleur-passeport-20171030.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">passport <\/a>and safety<\/strong> before boarding a Eurostar train to the British capital. This connection will enable Eurostar to offer <strong>seven services a day from Amsterdam to the UK<\/strong>. However, it hopes to operate a direct service <strong>without connections by the end of 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Eurostar wants to capture the air traffic between these two countries<\/h3>\n<p>The opening of this route between London and the Netherlands marks an important step in Eurostar's development. The railway company intends to <strong>capture a substantial market share of air traffic between London and Amsterdam<\/strong>which, year on year, stands at <strong>four million passengers<\/strong>. These new routes will also enable the airline to boost its business traffic, which has already reached <strong>increased by 8 % in 2017<\/strong> in Business Standard and Business Premier classes on its historic routes between London, Paris and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bruxelles-louverture-europeenne-2-20160129.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brussels<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the beginning of April, Eurostar launched a new route between London, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
