This fare offers one main advantage: the basic price. It offers no booking flexibility and does not include hold baggage or seat reservations. The last two services are in fact optional. On the other hand, Lufthansa still offers free drinks and snacks on board, as well as the in-flight entertainment programme. Hand baggage must not exceed eight kilos. However, these restrictions could be of interest to a significant proportion of business customers: the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/pme-outils-voyage-affaires-20171227.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SMES<\/a> who are going to the United States for a very short stay, two or three days maximum. And it will mainly concern routes to <strong>east coast<\/strong>New York type, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/boston-lavenir-dune-tradition-20160701.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boston<\/a>Philadelphia or Washington.<\/p>\n<p>The airline had already launched a test of this new pricing on the Scandinavian market since October 2017, an experiment that was visibly crowned with success. The choice of Scandinavia comes as no surprise either, as this is the carrier's native land. <strong>Norwegian<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This will be the fourth fare in the group's range. Lufthansa currently offers Flexi, Basic Plus and Basic long-haul economy fares, all of which include baggage transport. For example, a Basic single ticket between Paris and Boston is priced at between \u20ac320 and \u20ac450 in September. The new fare should allow an average of <strong>a saving for the passenger of between 15% and 20%<\/strong> compared with the current Basic fare.
