Indeed, <strong>with 7,790,000 passengers carried last month, the company is pleased to report a clear improvement<\/strong>compared with 7,510,000 in May 2017. EasyJet explains this increase of 3.7 % by a good disposition of public holidays, coupled with a promotional campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last twelve months, the trend has continued, reaching 8.4 %. This is because, <strong>easyJet recorded 83,092,000, compared with 76,680,000<\/strong> over the same period the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>In the French market, easyJet carried 1,774,626 passengers last month, with a load factor of 94.4 %, up 3.1 % on May 2017.<\/p>\n<p>This increase confirms <strong>the overall growth of low-cost airlines<\/strong> already underlined by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/oaci-compagnies-low-cost-2017-20180119.html\/\">last report<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The figures for May 2018 published by easyJet confirm the good health of the low-cost airline.
