This new waiting area, located in the recently enlarged departure area, will extend over <strong>332 m\u00b2, compared with 187 m\u00b2 for the former lounge<\/strong>. The number of places has intrinsically increased from 38 to 84.<\/p>\n<p>A number of services have been launched to cater for business travellers. <strong>A self-service bistro and bar<\/strong>e will allow Air Canada passengers to satiate themselves before boarding. The bathrooms will offer them a chance to freshen up and the Samsung televisions will keep them entertained before a long flight.<\/p>\n<p>\" C<em>he lounge will make it easier for business travellers to get through the airport, with a comfortable, quiet space in which to relax or work before their flight.<\/em> \"Benjamin Smith, President and Chief Operating Officer of Air Canada, is delighted. \"<em>\u00a0The space will be furnished with Canadian furniture and local arts and crafts that reflect the charm of the landscapes and people of Newfoundland and Labrador.<\/em>\u00a0\"he adds.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>St. John's Airport and Air Canada will be opening a new lounge this autumn.
