The French company has just unveiled <strong>its first domestic route, scheduled for 28 October<\/strong>. Aigle Azur will then link Nantes and Lyon, joining HOP! Air-France and easyJet on a route popular with <strong>business travellers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To attract them, Aigle Azur has put in place an ambitious programme: the <strong>frequency will reach 12 return flights per week<\/strong>. The airline will use A320s configured as single-cabin economy aircraft, equipped with <strong>180 seats<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Increasing the company's influence at national level<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\" <em>Since my arrival as Chairman of Aigle Azur, we have been determined to increase the company's influence at national, regional and international level.<\/em>\u00a0\"reminds <strong>Frantz Yvelin<\/strong>Chairman of Aigle Azur. <em>Following the announcement of its long-haul roll-out with the Paris-Sao Paulo flight on 5 July, this new domestic route represents a major new challenge.<\/em>\u00a0\".<\/p>\n<p>He arrived in August 2017 with the aim of turning the company around: a renaissance begun with <strong>the order for two Airbus A330-200<\/strong>. These aircraft have been put to good use on new routes linking Orly to China and Brazil. These intercontinental flights are only part of this strategy, which also focuses on strengthening short- and medium-haul flights.
