The <strong>sharing economy<\/strong> has been winning over professionals since the launch of its offer <strong>\"\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/quand-airbnb-sattaque-au-business-travel-20140729.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Airbnb for Business<\/a>\u00a0\"in 2014<\/strong>. Last year, the platform counted 250,000 companies subscribing to its newly renamed \"Airbnb for Work\" offering. Today, that number has doubled to <strong>700,000 companies <\/strong>of which <strong>35,000 in France<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These companies are divided fairly evenly between <strong>large companies (40 %) <\/strong>and<strong> startups-SMEs (40 %)<\/strong>. Medium-sized businesses - with between 251 and 5,000 employees - make up the remaining 20 %, but it is in this segment that Airbnb is experiencing the strongest growth. <strong>London, Paris and Los Angeles <\/strong>form the top three of the most popular business destinations for business travellers. Unsurprisingly, North American cities dominate the Airbnb rankings: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/new-york-perpetuelle-metamorphose-20180704.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York<\/a>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/silicon-valley-la-matiere-grise-maitresse-du-monde-20151130.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Silicon Valley<\/a>Toronto, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/san-francisco-soma-silicon-valley-20171016.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">San Francisco<\/a>Boston, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/sydney-cbd-theorie-de-levolution-20160526.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sydney<\/a> and Washington D.C. complete the top 10. The axis <strong>New York-Los Angeles <\/strong>is the most popular route for business travellers, ahead of Melbourne-Sydney and London-Paris.<\/p>\n<h3>Longer stays in groups<\/h3>\n<p>Airbnb has also tried to identify the major trends in the business travel market. Starting with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bleisure-le-meilleur-des-deux-mondes-20150718.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bleisure<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>30 % of bookings include a night at the weekend. While the average stay is five days, two- to three-night rentals are on the increase according to Airbnb, which is quick to point out that this is the traditional hotel industry's preserve. Long-stay establishments have not been spared, however, insofar as stays of <strong>14 days <\/strong>or more were multiplied by three: a clientele generally attracted by extended business trips, training courses or projects lasting several months. Finally, it should be noted that business customers travelling alone are in the minority on the platform, since 60% of business trips were made with more than one passenger. Of these 60%, 40% were made with three or more employees.<\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;\" border=\"1\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%;\">HOMEpage: the new Travel Management tool<\/p>\n<p>To make the most of this windfall and make life easier for travel managers, Airbnb is launching the <strong>HOMEpage<\/strong>. It allows you to customise your search parameters according to the types of rentals, prices and amenities corresponding to your area. <strong>travel policy <\/strong>of the company.
