The epilogue to a <strong>17 hours 52 minutes flight<\/strong>This makes it the longest commercial route in the world. \"\u00a0<em>Singapore Airlines is proud to introduce the world's longest commercial flights with the new A350-900ULR and we are even more excited about the opportunity to offer customers better connectivity between Singapore and the rest of the world. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/singapour-hub-intelligent-20170927.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Singapore<\/a> and the United States<\/em>\u00a0\"says Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines.<\/p>\n<p>As well as aeronautical performance, Singapore Airlines had to take into account the human factor, to make the experience as pleasant as possible. In particular, the airline has adapted the cabin configuration to help passengers sleep, in terms of lighting, the size of the windows and the height of the ceilings. The aim is to limit the impact of jet lag once on the New York tarmac.<\/p>\n<p>And to ensure that passengers are not tempted to look at the clock during the 18-hour journey, particular attention has been paid to the in-flight entertainment systems. The IFE system, which incorporates more than <strong>1,000 hours of entertainment<\/strong> - offers content recommendations based on customers' preferences and viewing history, which can be personalised on the platform\u00a0<strong>myKrisWorld<\/strong>. In addition, members of the loyalty programme <strong>KrisFlyer<\/strong> have access to an additional 200 hours of in-flight entertainment content. In addition, this A350-900ULR is of course equipped with in-flight WiFi, in partnership with Panasonic Avionics.<\/p>\n<p>Singapore Airlines is now looking ahead to the next stage, again on the US market: from <strong>2 November<\/strong>In addition, the airline will link Singapore to Los Angeles, before strengthening its schedule to San Francisco.
