Visit <strong>VTC platform<\/strong> has just announced the integration of new functions designed to improve the <strong>passenger safety<\/strong>. These tools will be integrated into a new safety component, symbolised by a <strong>shield icon<\/strong> within the application. This new <strong>\"safety kit<\/strong> presented on <strong>17 October<\/strong> by Uber includes <strong>emergency call button<\/strong>112 directly from the application for business travellers in Europe, or the local emergency number for other business destinations. To save time and improve accuracy, the application will also provide travellers with the main useful information prior to the call: the exact location of the traveller with his <strong>GPS position<\/strong> in real time and the<strong>vehicle identification<\/strong> with its make, model and number plate.<\/p>\n<p>The second aspect of this safety kit also concerns communication, but with the passenger's family and friends. Passengers can now define up to <strong>five \"favourite contacts<\/strong> with whom to share their travel details.
