{"id":79727,"date":"2018-10-25T16:57:00","date_gmt":"2018-10-25T14:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=79727"},"modified":"2018-10-25T16:57:00","modified_gmt":"2018-10-25T14:57:00","slug":"augmented-reality-lyft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/augmented-reality-lyft","title":{"rendered":"Lyft uses augmented reality with Blue Vision Labs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In an article published on Medium on 23 October, <strong>Peter Ondruska<\/strong>the co-founder and CEO of <strong>Blue Vision Labs<\/strong>announced <strong>buyback<\/strong> of this British start-up by <strong>Lyft<\/strong>. <strong>Augmented reality specialist<\/strong>the company will integrate the <strong>Level 5 division<\/strong> of Lyft, in charge of developing autonomous vehicles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last March, Blue Vision Labs launched the <strong>Blue Vision Labs AR cloud<\/strong>a technology that facilitates the creation of augmented reality applications. For example, it allows passengers to see the position of their VTC and its driver in augmented reality on their smartphone screen. According to Peter Ondruska, this technology is powered by \" <em>from <strong>3D maps<\/strong> precise to the centimetre, covering entire towns and built by fleets of vehicles equipped with mobile phones<\/em> \". Cars equipped with this technology know where they are, what's around them and how to react. By acquiring Blue Vision Labs, Lyft will be able to use the services already offered by the start-up on a much larger scale and accelerate its research in the field of \"intelligent driving\". <strong>autonomous vehicle<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lyft has acquired the services of Blue Vision Labs, a start-up specialising in augmented reality.
