{"id":81165,"date":"2018-11-29T17:12:21","date_gmt":"2018-11-29T16:12:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=81165"},"modified":"2023-10-10T12:44:10","modified_gmt":"2023-10-10T10:44:10","slug":"berlin-gbta-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/berlin-gbta-europe","title":{"rendered":"Berlin: GBTA Europe returns to the capital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After focusing for a time on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/francfort-le-business-comme-art-de-vivre-20150520.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Frankfurt<\/a>the annual conference of the <strong>GBTA Europe<\/strong>\u00a0(Global Business Travel Association) has migrated this year to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/berlin-high-tech-uber-alles-20181123.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Berlin<\/a><\/strong>within the <strong>Estrel Congress Center<\/strong>four years after the association's last event in Berlin. It was a successful comeback, judging by the large crowds that turned out for the three days of conferences and discussions under the theme of 'Momentum'. From <strong>27 to 29 November<\/strong>Some 900 participants converged on the south of the German capital in response to the association's call. Among them, in addition to the logical representation of the domestic market, were a number of Travel Managers from the Nordic countries. But there was also a large delegation of French business travel professionals: Travel Managers, exhibitors and speakers, who all contributed to the success of this 2018 edition.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of the programme and the themes covered, the particular attention paid to the <strong>NDC<\/strong> (\"New Distribution Capability\"). In the land of Lufthansa, apostle of the <strong>direct distribution<\/strong>It would indeed have been strange to ignore the arrival of this new standard, which is set to reshape the business travel landscape. Artificial Intelligence, the role of women in business travel, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/duty-of-care-exercice-20180723.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">security<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bien-etre-hotellerie-saine-20180109.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">well-being<\/a> of travellers or respect for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/politique-voyages-ecoute-voyageurs-20180925.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel policy<\/a> were also among the key themes discussed at the GBTA Europe conferences. This is healthy 'food for thought', providing Travel Managers and all those involved in business travel with a salutary - not to say necessary - 'update' in a constantly changing
