And so it is a female boss who was chosen on Wednesday by the company's Board of Directors. The internal option was favoured, since it was <strong>Anne Rigail<\/strong> - until now Executive Vice President Customer of Air France - who was chosen, \"\u00a0<em>on the proposal of Benjamin Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Air France-KLM, and with the agreement of the Board of Directors of Air France-KLM\", <\/em>said the press release. Anne Rigail, who <strong>will take office on 17 December<\/strong>says <em>\"Very honoured to become CEO of Air France<\/em>\u00a0\". A graduate of the Ecole des Mines de Paris, Anne Rigail explains: \"\u00a0<em>For more than <strong>27 years old<\/strong>I put all my energy and commitment into the success of Air France and its employees. I am <strong>very confident in Benjamin Smith's conquest strategy<\/strong> and I share his enthusiasm for <strong>promoting the Air France brand<\/strong> in the world<\/em> \".<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Air France-KLM group has taken a major step forward in its reorganisation as it sets out to conquer new markets.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The boss of the Air France KLM group, for his part, hailed: \" <em>a leading professional in the airline industry.
