And this, is it a coincidence of the calendar, just a few days after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/lvmh-rachete-groupe-hotelier-belmond-20181214.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LVMH<\/a> has announced the purchase of Belmond, the former Orient Express group, which used to operate this luxury cruise liner. <strong>mythical name<\/strong> until 2014.<\/p>\n<p>So it's up to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/bangkok-lere-de-linnovation-20161212.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bangkok<\/a>The first hotel offshoot of this legendary train, far from its European roots, will open its doors in the last quarter of 2019. \"<em>This link between West and East, between history and modernity, between curiosities and cultures, will be the hallmark of these new Orient Express hotels.<\/em>\"said S\u00e9bastien Bazin, CEO of AccorHotels. Interior designer Tristan Auer has been commissioned to re-imagine a modern skyscraper in a dynamic metropolis, <strong>Art Deco interiors<\/strong> and the plant motifs of the original Orient Express carriages. For the past two years, it has been home to one of the most popular restaurants in the Thai capital, <strong>l'Atelier Jo\u00ebl Robuchon<\/strong>starred in the latest Michelin guide to Thailand. A 360-degree observation platform was also inaugurated at the beginning of December, while a sky bar at an altitude of 314 metres was opened to the public. Overlooking Thailand's tallest building, the Mahanakhon SkyWalk offers panoramic views of the entire city from the 74th, 75th and 78th floors of the building. The observation deck incorporates one of the world's largest glass plateaus, giving a panoramic view of the city. <strong>the feeling of being suspended<\/strong> above the metropolis.<br \/>\nAs for the highest bar in the Thai capital, the Peak, this is probably the most prestigious venue in Bangkok at the moment, as it can <strong>be privatised<\/strong> as part of a meeting or incentive event. It complements Maha Nakhon Square, a space of around 1,000 square metres available for organising exhibitions or events. Finally, the tower houses a huge duty free shop. The terrace and bar are open every day from 10am to midnight, with the last entrance allowed at 11pm. Until the end of January, visitors can take advantage of a special discount to visit the 30 % tower at THB 765 (USD 23) instead of THB 1,050 (USD 32).<br \/>\n<em>Luc Citrinot<\/em><br
