Compared with the previous year, this represents a <strong>increase of 6.1 %<\/strong> of traffic. In terms of the number of flights, the United Nations counts nearly 38 million.<\/p>\n<p><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>In 2018, the market <strong>Asia-Pacific<\/strong> which recorded the strongest growth (+7.3 %), ahead of the<strong>Europe<\/strong> (+6.7 %), which nevertheless remains the leading international market with 37 % of traffic.<\/p>\n<h3>31 % chose a low-cost flight<\/h3>\n<p>2018 was a particularly good year for companies offering <strong>low-cost flights<\/strong>. <strong>1.3 billion<\/strong> passengers chose this type of carrier, representing 31 % of total passengers.
