Africa is the continent of opportunity for the business tourism industry. Just as hotels<\/a> or air transport<\/a>the coworking<\/a>and more generally shared workspaces<\/strong>is expanding rapidly. The sector leader with 3,300 sites worldwide, Regus<\/a> is logically participating in this growth and will be opening six new business centres in the first quarter of 2019.<\/p>\n

Already present in 20 African countries (*), Regus will add a 21st destination<\/strong> with Gabon and the inauguration of a first centre in Libreville in February. Also in February, in addition to two locations in Algiers<\/a>Regus will be setting up in another Algerian town, S\u00e9tif, as part of the Park-Mall Centre complex, which also includes a Marriott hotel.<\/p>\n

Last January, Regus strengthened its position in Tunisia with the inauguration of a third office and coworking space in Tunis. In addition to the two business centres located on the banks of the lake, the new business centre is part of Regus' strategy to expand its presence in Tunisia. a buoyant business district<\/strong>The new Regus centre is located at the \"Centre Urbain Nord\". Comprising private offices, a coworking space, around a hundred workstations and meeting rooms, this Regus centre also benefits from its proximity to Tunis-Carthage international airport.<\/p>\n

However, it is in Morocco that Regus is experiencing its strongest growth, with the country becoming its second largest market on the continent after South Africa. \"We are proud to strengthen our presence in Morocco<\/strong> where we have been established since 1997<\/em>says Tarek Abou-Zeinab, Country Manager for Africa at IWG, the parent company of Regus business centres and Spaces. Regus-style coworking is winning over more and more local businesses, with almost 2,000 currently using our services.<\/em>\"<\/p>\n

Already with 13 sites, the world leader in flexible workspaces has doubled its presence<\/strong> in the country in just three years. And it's not over yet, as it continues to build up its network of dynamic business areas. In the first quarter, Regus will open new business centres in Tangier<\/a>the continent's first free trade zone, in Rabat, in an ultra-modern centre in the Mahaj Hay Ryad building, and at Casablanca<\/a>in the Sidi Maarouf district. Later this year, IWG will also be offering a Spaces coworking space<\/strong> in the country's economic capital, with this contemporary chain also set to expand in Egypt in 2019.<\/p>\n
