The interview touched on the departure of Brigitte Nisio, former Director of France, and the prospect of strike action. After reading the interview, the Snepat-FO union shared its version of events: \"\u00a0<em>The management of CWT France has indicated that a <strong>strike<\/strong> is not underway in the company and that the order was issued by a single person: wrong, it's the <strong>Snepat-FO union<\/strong> which was unanimously supported by its delegation, following management's failure to respond on the tax-free bonus and other issues\". <\/em>say the union's representatives in a response sent on 12 February.<em>. \"\u00a0<\/em><em>This indefinite strike was called on <strong>18th January<\/strong> at 2pm, with over <strong>20 % strikers<\/strong> (The meeting was suspended on 28 January pending the results of the NAO meetings on 4 and 20 February: the trade unions left the meeting on 4 February dismayed, and the suspension will last until the last meeting, which is expected to be on 20 February.<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>all employees were not informed by e-mail<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In addition, the Snepat-FO union is also contesting the veracity of information relating to the departure of <strong>Brigitte Nisio<\/strong> : \"\u00a0<em>It is wrong to say that the trade unions were informed of the departure of Ms Nisio, General Manager, before anyone else: on 15 January at 11 a.m. there was a conference call for head office managers (and no doubt site managers); on the same day there was a works council meeting and the Director of Employee Relations told the elected representatives present at 11.30 a.m. that Brigitte Nisio was leaving on the same day: All the unions had received the information through the press or by word of mouth, but none of the employees had been informed by e-mail; information was posted on the CWT intranet on 15 and 28 January, but employees did not consult it because of a lack of time, as staffing levels were very tight and the priority was of course customer service.<\/em>\" .<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following
