After Yotel<\/strong> and Yotelair<\/strong><\/a>a new version of the hotel group is about to make its debut in Europe. Already present in North America and Dubai, YotelPad<\/strong>\u00a0intends to embody a unique accommodation concept for long-term stays offering a ready-to-use model, access to a community<\/strong> as well as eliminating cumbersome daily tasks for passengers in transit, whether on business or leisure.<\/em> \"according to the group's managers. In particular, they intend to capitalise on the growing popularity of 'co-living' and 'coworking', two concepts that are in vogue and, above all, in the process of coming together, as witnessed by theforthcoming inauguration of the Deskopolitan Voltaire in Paris<\/strong><\/a>or the integration of coworking Wojo<\/strong> in Accor hotels<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The three YotelPad projects expected in Switzerland target Geneva<\/a><\/strong> and Lausanne<\/strong>by setting up within fifteen minutes of the town centres of these business destinations. \" The French-speaking part of Switzerland is an interesting first launch test<\/em> \"explains Hubert Viriot, CEO of Yotel<\/a>which aims to attract business travellers. \" Lausanne and Geneva are home to a high proportion of global organisations, and the Lake Geneva region is home to an exceptionally mobile and dynamic workforce. It is also home to frequent international business travellers, visiting their headquarters or attending UN conferences.<\/em> \"he adds.<\/p>\n

The first YotelPad is due to open in 2020 in Plan-les-Ouates, in the industrial and commercial centre of Geneva, 20 minutes from the airport. This will be followed by YotelPad in Etoy (2020), between Lausanne and Geneva, and Pregny-Chamb\u00e9sy (2021), a stone's throw from the United Nations.<\/p>\n

Each of these establishments will have 30 m\u00b2 'PADs' with SmartBed, free Wi-Fi, kitchenette, bathroom and adaptable working and eating areas. But YotelPad will also focus on its public spaces and 'community' aspect - like coworking, with meeting and co-working spaces, and regular community-focused events to help travellers develop their network.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
