In the shadow of <strong>Skytrax<\/strong>which has become the benchmark, new studies are emerging. <strong>AirHelp<\/strong> has just unveiled its rankings, which reveal a few surprises. While Asian airports have once again claimed the 2019 Sytrax trophies - Singapore Changi, Tokyo Haneda and Seoul Incheon on the podium, ahead of Doha, Hong Kong and Nagoya - the airport of<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/athenes-crise-et-redressement-20190506.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Athens<\/strong> <\/a>takes the bronze medal for AirHelp. With a score of 8.38\/10, the Greek airport is just behind <strong>Doha<\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/tendance-tokyo-naime-plus-linsularite-20151001.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tokyo<\/a> Haneda<\/strong>. French business travellers watching the position of Paris airports will have to scroll down the ranking pages. Indeed, the <strong>CDG<\/strong> is struggling, with an AirHelp Score of 6.70\/10 relegating it to the bottom of the league. <strong>121st place<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/nouveau-terminal-orly-20190319.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Orly<\/strong> <\/a>doesn't stand out either, with a score of 6.37\/10 and 126th place out of... <strong>132 airports<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/airhelp-classement-aeroports-francais-20250410.html\/\" data-id=\"197339\">Punctuality: the AirHelp ranking of French airports<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/airhelp-aeroports.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"603\" height=\"658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/airhelp-aeroports.jpg\" alt=\"AirHelp\" class=\"wp-image-86135\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/airhelp-aeroports.jpg 603w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/airhelp-aeroports-275x300-derived.jpg 275w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 603px) 100vw, 603px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">AirHelp's top 10 international airports for 2019<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>To calculate its index, AirHelp surveyed users to evaluate the <strong>quality of service<\/strong> (20% of the overall score) and the offer in terms of <strong>restaurants and shops<\/strong> (20% of the score as well). The remaining 60% are based on the most objective data, namely punctuality. Unfortunately, Paris airports do not fare any better in this specific ranking, as their position remains unchanged. Nevertheless, there are a few surprises at the head of the race against the clock. The airport of <strong>Charleroi-Brussels South<\/strong> is sacred as being the most punctual, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/moscou-ville-pleine-metamorphose-20171127.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moscow<\/a> Sheremetyevo<\/strong> and <strong>Tokyo Haneda<\/strong> rounded off the podium ahead of two Brazilian airports: Curitiba and Viracopos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<aside class=\"wp-block-varenne-link-block\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/classement-airhelp-aeroports-francais-20250715.html\/\" data-id=\"203333\">AirHelp rankings: French airports flirt with the Top... 100<\/a><\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<p>And what about the airlines? It seems that business travellers passing through the <strong>Doha<\/strong> are the most advantaged. That's right, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/interview-sylvain-bosc-qatar-airways-20190430.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Qatar Airways<\/strong> <\/a>makes it a double success by taking first place in the rankings <strong>AirHelp<\/strong> as well as the coronation of Doha Hamad airport. With a score of 8.23, it beats out its nearest rival, Doha Hamad Airport. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/qatar-airways-capital-damerican-airlines-20170622.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rival <strong>American Airlines<\/strong><\/a> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/paul-verhagen-aeromexico-20190123.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aeromexico<\/a><\/strong>. Air France's overall score of 7.60 places it 19th out of 72 airlines surveyed. As for <strong>processing compensation claims<\/strong> - one of the three criteria used to assess carriers, along with punctuality and quality of service, and a speciality of AirHelp - it is <strong>SAS<\/strong> with the highest score, ahead of WestJet and American Airlines. Affected by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/greve-sas-20190429.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">week-long strike at the beginning of May<\/a>with <strong>360,000 passengers<\/strong> affected by<strong>4,015 flights cancelled<\/strong>The Scandinavian company will thus have the leisure to prove its efficiency once again over the coming weeks.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Doha, Tokyo Haneda, Athens: these are the top three airports according to the rankings published by AirHelp.
