In the longer term, this will be followed by a high-speed rail link to the Baltic States and St Petersburg. To this end, a new multimodal centre is currently under construction, which will enable passengers, from <strong>2021<\/strong>This will make it easier to switch from plane to train, bus or taxi. This will further enhance the attractiveness of the hub, already positioned as a <strong>one of the leading hubs between Europe and Asia\u00a0<\/strong>thanks to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/javier-roig-finnair-2-20190325.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Finnair<\/a><\/strong>. Last year, Helsinki topped the 20 million passenger mark for the first time (+10.5 1TP3Q).<strong>soaring transfer traffic<\/strong>. The number of connecting passengers jumped from <strong>21%<\/strong>This is particularly the case with the expansion of routes to Asia.<br \/>\nFinnair offers more than 100 weekly flights and around 20 routes to Asia, with connections to around 100 European cities.
