Almost a year after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/ben-smith-air-france-klm-20180816.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">appointment of\u00a0<strong>Benjamin Smith<\/strong><\/a> as the Group's new Chief Executive Officer, the reorganisation is beginning to deliver its first tangible results. In the space of 24 hours, the following changes were made official<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/commande-air-france-airbus-a220-20190730.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acquisition of 60 new aircraft <strong>Airbus A220<\/strong><\/a>the <strong>disappearance of the A380s<\/strong> on the horizon <strong>2022<\/strong>and therefore new development capacities for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/nathalie-stubler-transavia-france-20180418.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transavia France<\/a><\/strong>. By voting by a very large majority (78%) in favour of the development of Transavia, the pilots of Air France's SNPL have finally removed the restraint that has until now limited the development of the low-cost airline. Despite the fine performance recorded each year by the French low-cost airline, its growth had until now been constrained by an agreement signed in 2014, which limited its fleet to a maximum of <strong>40 devices<\/strong>. \"\u00a0<em>Transavia will be able to <strong>pursue its development with no limit on the number of aircraft<\/strong> and in <strong>economically balanced conditions<\/strong> for the Air France group.
