{"id":88505,"date":"2019-08-26T10:49:29","date_gmt":"2019-08-26T08:49:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/?p=88505"},"modified":"2019-08-26T10:49:29","modified_gmt":"2019-08-26T08:49:29","slug":"hyatt-reinforces-asia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/hyatt-reinforces-asia","title":{"rendered":"The Hyatt Group strengthens its position in Asia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>End <strong>2020<\/strong>, <strong>Hyatt<\/strong> Hotels Corporation will offer <strong>25% of additional rooms in Asia<\/strong>This expansion affects all of the Group's brands, the <strong>total luxury<\/strong> being the best represented with five Park Hyatt establishments, but also with five hotels under the more contemporary Andaz brand, in the 4\/5 star segment. The number of Grand Hyatt-branded establishments is next, with four units, followed by two resort hotels under the Alila brand - an Indonesian chain integrated by Hyatt in 2018. Alila is due to join the <strong>World of Hyatt loyalty programme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of the American group's biggest expansions in Asia, with China and Japan the two countries with the highest number of new hotels. This year, China will see the opening of the Grand Hyatt Hefei and the very luxurious Park Hyatt in Shenzhen. The latter, which is particularly aimed at business customers, offers 195 rooms, including 24 suites.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Hyatt will open three Andaz hotels in China, in Sanya on the island of Hainan, in Shenzhen and in Xiamen, a Grand Hyatt hotel in Shenzhou and finally the Park Hyatt Suzhou, near Shanghai.<\/p>\n<p>The other country to benefit from several openings is <strong>Japan<\/strong> with three new hotels. The group recently inaugurated its first Hyatt Place in the land of the rising sun. Located in the bay of <strong>Tokyo<\/strong>halfway between <strong>Haneda and Narita airports<\/strong>The hotel is located 30 minutes by train from the centre of Tokyo and offers 363 rooms in a contemporary four-star segment. Next December, the chain will open a very luxurious Park Hyatt in Kyoto (70 rooms), followed in March 2020 by another Park Hyatt in Niseko, one of the most popular ski resorts on the island of Hokkaido.<\/p>\n<p>In South Korea, Hyatt is inaugurating the first Andaz Gangnam on 6 September. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/seoul-gangnam-business-style-20160718.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Seoul<\/strong><\/a>. With 241 rooms, their design is inspired by Bojagi, a traditional Korean textile. Hyatt will open a Grand Hyatt hotel on Jeju Island in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>In Indonesia, at the end of the year, the chain will inaugurate its first Park Hyatt at <strong>Jakarta<\/strong> (220 rooms) and in 2020 an Andaz in Bali.
