Today, Uber is even riding the <strong>electric scooters\u00a0<\/strong>a first for the American giant, which has chosen to team up with France's <strong>Cityscoot<\/strong>whose vehicles will \"soon\" be available for booking via the Uber app, and the <strong>same price<\/strong> than on the Cityscoot portal, or 29 cents per minute. While Cityscoot has begun to expand geographically, notably by launching on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/milan-rome-cityscoot-20190118.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the italian market<\/a>For the time being, this agreement only covers <strong>Paris<\/strong> and a dozen towns in the Ile-de-France region, representing a total of <strong>4000 vehicles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Paris, world capital of mobility<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\" <em>Paris thus becomes the city with the most mobility options available on the Uber application worldwide, confirming its status as the \"mobility capital of the world\". The inclusion of self-service electric scooters is a first for Uber.<\/em> \"Uber officials explain.<\/p>\n<p>This partnership, unveiled on <strong>16 October<\/strong> promises to bring a new aura to the French start-up, as underlined by <strong>Bertrand Fleurose<\/strong>CEO of Cityscoot: \"\u00a0<em>We're proud to be part of a benchmark application for urban mobility, helping to raise the profile of our service in France and beyond, and accelerating our growth.\u00a0<\/em>\". For his part, <strong>Steve Salom<\/strong>General Manager, Uber France, Switzerland and Austria: \"\u00a0<em>With the electric scooter option, Uber is offering even more alternatives to the private car. This partnership will enable us to enhance our mobility platform and give Cityscoot the opportunity to attract new users.
