From the <strong>mid-December<\/strong>the German company in cooperation with its partner <strong>Deutsche Bahn<\/strong>from mid-December, will be increasing the number of connections to Frankfurt airport from Aachen, D\u00fcsseldorf, Cologne, Stuttgart and Ulm. The increase in service is substantial: 392 trains will be offered each week instead of the current 233. This will mean 119 Lufthansa Express trains to Cologne, instead of 77. On the D\u00fcsseldorf-Frankfurt route, 105 trains will run instead of 53. To Stuttgart, the Lufthansa Express Rail will offer 77 connections per week, 49 connections to Ulm and 42 to Aachen. Lufthansa's Express Rail service is available to <strong>14 German towns<\/strong>. In addition to the destinations mentioned above, trains will serve Dortmund, Erfurt, Freiburg, G\u00f6ttingen, Karlsruhe, Kassel, Mannheim, Nuremberg and W\u00fcrzburg. Launched on North America in the summer of 2018, this fare is the cheapest available and <strong>only includes one piece of hand luggage<\/strong> and offers <strong>no booking flexibility<\/strong>. If necessary, passengers can add a piece of hold baggage for a supplement. Meals and drinks on board remain included in the fare. \" <em>We are increasingly working on an intuitive price scale. We're not there yet, but for example, adding services that come with the Light Economy fare can still represent significant savings compared with the following fare range<\/em>\u00a0\"says Tamur Goudarzi Pour, Senior Vice President Revenue &amp; Distribution for the Lufthansa Group.
