The trial was a great success with users, and convinced SBB to extend the new service. <strong>EasyRide<\/strong> to all public transport users in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>The principle is simple. All you have to do is register on the SBB mobile application to access the <strong>automatic ticketing<\/strong> and register a credit card or other means of payment recognised by the tool.<\/p>\n<p>For each trip, travellers need to identify their point of departure and disconnect where they want, at the end of their journey. The <strong>EasyRide then analyses the route<\/strong> and automatically proposes the <strong>suitable ticket<\/strong>at the best price. For example, if the value of the journey exceeds the price of a day pass, the most advantageous fare, that of the day pass, will be applied.<\/p>\n<p>EasyRide offers sporadic users of public transport in Switzerland the chance to take advantage of a new way of travelling. <strong>tariff adapted<\/strong> and travel easily and comfortably on public transport. One of the other advantages of EasyRide is that it integrates other modes of transport into the journey, such as the postbus, urban transport or the boat. The application can even identify half-fare or full-fare season tickets. <strong>reductions<\/strong> which may be available to passengers who have already registered for SBB offers. And because we're in Switzerland, if passengers forget to log off at the end of their journey, EasyRide sends a reminder.
