This \"\u00a0<strong>Pocketalk<\/strong>\" designed by <strong>Sourcenext<\/strong>is a system of <strong>real-time machine translation<\/strong> designed for <strong>All Nippon Airways<\/strong>. <strong>200 devices<\/strong> of this kind will soon be deployed on <strong>some fifty airports<\/strong> Japanese, to simplify communication with travellers. Pocketalk can translate <strong>74 languages<\/strong> 55 in speech and text, and a further 19 in text only. It will be used mainly in airport lobbies and boarding gates. \" <em>ANA is constantly looking for ways to improve the passenger experience, including taking steps to make our airport service as inclusive and convenient as possible.<\/em> \"explains Masaki Yokai, Vice President of the airline. \" <em>Our commitment to Japanese hospitality has driven us to seek innovative ways of using technology to enhance the passenger experience.
