In any case, the hotel groups, even if their activity is less singled out for criticism because it is much less polluting, are giving further proof of their commitment to the environment. <strong>commitments<\/strong> in terms of<strong>environment<\/strong>. For example, <strong>Hyatt<\/strong>, <strong>Mandarin Oriental<\/strong> and <strong>Marriott<\/strong> have all announced the<strong>elimination of used plastics<\/strong> by the end of 2020-mid 2021.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/decideurs-belinda-pote-marriott-20190930.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Marriott<\/strong> <\/a>will extend to the whole world the initiative taken in the United States to ban all mini soap and shampoo bottles and replace them with dispensers holding 10 to 12 times more. In other words, a <strong>economy<\/strong> in the year of <strong>500 million bottles<\/strong> for a <strong>reduction of 30 %<\/strong> plastic packaging. In addition to a similar approach for sanitary products, <strong>Hyatt<\/strong> will also increase the number of <strong>water points<\/strong> in its public areas, where customers will be able to fill in <strong>reusable bottles<\/strong>. At the same time, the Group has undertaken to serve only water in carafes at its <strong>meetings and events<\/strong>Bottled water is available on request.<\/p>\n<p>Limiting the use of coffee pods in bars and restaurants, doing away with individual packaging for jam, introducing sustainable alternatives such as biodegradable tea bags: the <strong>restoration<\/strong> is also moving in a sustainable direction in a number of hotels. Among other developments, this will encourage the use of more sustainable practices. <strong>healthier food and<\/strong> at <strong>respect for animal welfare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Animal welfare<\/h3>\n<p>In partnership with the Humane League association, the group <strong>Radisson<\/strong> made a commitment in November to source only 100 % free-range eggs in all its hotels by 2025. \"<em>The transition to this supply will take time and investment, but we will work closely with our suppliers and hotel owners to make significant progress.<\/em>\"said Inge Huijbrechts, Senior Vice President Responsible Business of the Radisson Group. <strong>Four Seasons<\/strong> has set itself the same code of conduct for all its hotels in Europe and North America, with the aim of achieving this by the end of 2019, while <strong>Hilton<\/strong> and <strong>Marriott<\/strong>which have already been moving in this direction for several years in the United States, will be extending this policy worldwide by 2025. As part of its healthy and sustainable food charter, <strong>Accor<\/strong> has also taken a number of initiatives, from supplying eggs from free-range hens to signing the European Chicken Commitment last summer, with the aim of integrating only broiler chickens into its supply chain by 2026. Already in 2018, at the <strong>\"Planet 21 Day<\/strong>the Sofitel, MGallery and Pullman brands had committed to ensuring that 100 % of their supply of fresh, local and seasonal fruit and vegetables was sourced locally.<strong>organic farming<\/strong>.
