La Air France's move upmarket<\/a> is now being extended to destinations in the Caribbean and Indian Ocean regions. Over the course of the year, the airline will gradually roll out new new travel cabins<\/strong> on the 10 Boeing 777-300s mainly destined for this network. The first aircraft equipped with these cabins took off on 15 January for Pointe-\u00e0-Pitre, followed the next day by Fort-de-France, before other destinations will benefit from this development, including Saint-Denis de La R\u00e9union during the summer 2020 season, as well as Mauritius, Havana, Cancun, Santo Domingo and Punta Cana.<\/p>\n

On board, the 472 seats (14 in Business, 28 in Premium Economy and 430 in Economy) have been completely redesigned at a cost of 120 million euros, to offer passengers a high level of comfort. In Business, the seat can turn into a bed<\/strong> almost two metres long and adds a new pre-defined 'relax' position. The 1\/2\/1 seating arrangement gives all passengers direct access to the aisle. With a removable screen and a \"do not disturb\" signal activated via the seat control, everything is designed to promote privacy. As for the quality of sleep, it is guaranteed by soft foams, a silky duvet and a comfortable pillow. Other features of this cocoon include a storage box<\/strong> with mirror and noise-reducing headphones, a power socket, two USB ports, an 18.5-inch HD screen, a personal reading light and a suede comfort kit with everything you need to feel good on board.<\/p>\n
