For example, on 18 March, Lufthansa is offering four daily flights to Frankfurt and Munich from Paris CDG and five daily flights from Lyon (two to Frankfurt and three to Munich). Air France, for its part, operates four daily flights between Paris CDG and Berlin Tegel and three daily flights to Paris-Hamburg. Easyjet continues to operate flights to Germany. The airline is offering three daily flights to Paris-Berlin on Tuesday 17 and four daily flights on Wednesday 18. More details are available on the websites of the various airlines, as frequencies are fluctuating. All the traditional carriers offer the possibility of changing travel dates without penalty.<\/p>\n<p>La <strong>Deutsche Bahn<\/strong> states on its website that it is working with SNCF on a new reduced timetable for long-distance services between the two countries. The new timetable will be published on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, there are virtually no regional connections, which greatly reduces travel alternatives. From Sunday <strong>trams<\/strong> between Strasbourg and Kehl in Germany stopped at the border of the Rhine Bridge, a situation that has been repeated since Monday for trams running between Sarreguemines and Saarbr\u00fccken, which no longer cross into France from the Saarland capital.<\/p>\n<p>Since Monday morning, it's been the same scenario for some people <strong>regional trains<\/strong> TER or Regio. On the Metz-Sarrebruck route, for example, trains - if they are still running - are now stopping at border stations. On the Strasbourg-Karlsruhe-Stuttgart or Frankfurt routes, however, trains were still running on Monday. Deutsche Bahn points out, however, that checks may delay trains by up to 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Le <strong>car and pedestrian traffic<\/strong> between France and Germany is <strong>totally closed<\/strong>. On Monday morning, local newspapers reported that pedestrians and vehicles travelling between the two countries were being subjected to identity checks and health screening, one by one.
