Studies on the subject have been multiplying for several weeks now, in an attempt to provide an answer with varying degrees of reliability and objectivity. The report recently published by <strong>Kisio <\/strong>- a subsidiary of Keolis - and <strong>Roland Berger<\/strong> has the merit of being based on a particularly meaningful indicator when it comes to monitoring populations as closely as possible: their <strong>smartphone<\/strong>. Drawing on <strong>GPS data<\/strong> d'<strong>one million users<\/strong>This barometer, entitled <strong>\"Covid-19 - Containment and mobility<\/strong> provides a detailed overview of the migratory flows analysed from <strong>1st February to 31st March<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_96145\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-96145\" style=\"width: 700px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-96145 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/kisio-covid.jpg\" alt=\"Kisio Roland Berger\" width=\"700\" height=\"379\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/kisio-covid.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/kisio-covid-300x162-derived.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-96145\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">According to this report, the fall in travel reached 80% in France<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As a result, travel would have <strong>fell by 80%<\/strong> since the presidential address on 12 March, prior to the confinement. While the fall is relatively uniform across the country, the Ile-de-France region has seen the sharpest drop (-83%). Another finding of the Kisio-Roland Berger study is the shift in population concentrations. Unsurprisingly <strong>stations<\/strong> and the main <strong>transport hubs<\/strong> have been relatively deserted, unlike the <strong>zones<\/strong> <strong>hospital <\/strong>and <strong>residential<\/strong>. The \"Containment and Mobility\" report also puts the drop in passenger numbers at 90%. <strong>major French stations<\/strong>and 80% for <strong>airports<\/strong>. In the Ile-de-France public transport sector, the fall will reach 86%. At national level, public transport revenues could fall by between \u20ac1.8 and \u20ac2.6 billion in 2020, according to the report, which points to the following factors <strong>\"sanitisation<\/strong> of travel on the ground and on board as one of the major challenges to reassure users and revive mobility after the crisis.<\/p>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<h3>Mobility and confidentiality: a methodical approach<\/h3>\n<p>While the possible launch of the <strong>StopCovid<\/strong> in France is already causing controversy, not least because of privacy concerns, the authors of the report were quick to point out the precautions taken during the survey. Kisio and Roland Berger point out that the data was collected in compliance with the French Data Protection Act. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/rgpd-donnee-union-europeenne-20180129.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>RGPD<\/strong><\/a>The authors of the study also refer to \"pseudonymised data\" and the use of servers.
