To this end, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/labels-rassurer-clientele-20200417.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">others are working on labels<\/a>the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/decideurs-belinda-pote-marriott-20190930.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Marriott hotel group<\/a> created the <b>world cleanliness council<\/b>This project is focused on developing a new generation of cleanliness standards and hospitality behaviours designed to minimise risks for both guests and hotel staff. \"<em> We want our customers to know that we are doing everything in our power to provide them with a clean and healthy environment when they travel again.<\/em> \"said Ray Bennett, Group Managing Director of Global Operations and Chairman of the Council. Involving the relevant departments - housekeeping, technical, food safety and occupational health - the board also includes advisory members specialising in science, industry and training.<\/p>\n<p>\"<em> Thanks to the advice and scientific opinions of experts, we are taking a considered approach to setting even higher standards of cleanliness and developing new products.<strong> new protocols for interacting with our customers<\/strong><\/em>added Ray Bennett. <em>Marriott's Global Clean Council does not simply focus on disinfection within hotels, but offers a holistic approach to taking the utmost care of our customers and associates.<\/em> \"<\/p>\n<p>Among the initiatives underway, the launch in the coming months of <strong>advanced technologies<\/strong>including electrostatic sprays that can be used in a hotel to quickly clean and disinfect rooms, lobbies, fitness areas and other public spaces. At the same time, the hotel group is testing ultraviolet light technology to disinfect keys and devices shared by guests and staff.<\/p>\n<p>The evolution of customer contact is one of the other areas under consideration in order to reduce the risk of transmission of the virus. While signs will remind customers to maintain safe distances, furniture will be reorganised to give more space between people. Marriott is also working with partners to put <strong>masks and gloves<\/strong> available to staff. The company is also adding hand disinfection stations at the entrances to its hotels, near reception desks, lifts, sports halls and meeting areas. Digitalisation of check-in and room service ordering also helps to guarantee customer safety. Finally, in terms of food safety, sanitation guidelines will be improved, with a parallel training programme on food preparation and safe service
