Transavia<\/strong> had the honour of reopening the ball at Orly<\/strong>. 13 years after its very first flight - to Porto<\/strong>13 weeks after the closure of the Paris airport, the French airline took off for the Portuguese airport, and relaunched the machine to the south of Paris. For the occasion, as for the inauguration of a new route, the Boeing 737<\/strong> was given a \"water salute\", a sign of the importance of this flight for the Paris hub. \" The reopening of Orly is a symbol of the return of leisure activities and family and friends get-togethers, but also of a resumption of economic activity for an entire region.<\/em>underlines Nathalie Stubler<\/strong><\/a>CEO of Transavia. To celebrate this renewal, we decided to operate the first flight from Orly on our historic first Paris-Porto route. These destinations are logically sunny, as the low-cost carrier is primarily targeting leisure customers. Nevertheless, of the fifty or so airports that the carrier will be serving this summer - i.e. 80%<\/strong> of its 'normal' schedule - also include top business destinations.
