From <strong>suspensions<\/strong> for which the company has set a deadline: March 31, the date of the official start of IATA summer schedules.<\/p>\n<p>The carrier is closely monitoring the development of the pandemic around the world and the resulting travel restrictions. Finnair has therefore decided to cancel a number of flights. The airline has just published a new flight schedule valid until 31 March 2021. Certain routes will remain temporarily cancelled until this date.<\/p>\n<h3>Services to Lyon and Nice withdrawn<\/h3>\n<p>On the <strong>intercontinental routes<\/strong>Finnair is suspending services to Busan (Korea), Canton (Guangzhou), Chicago, Fukuoka, Los Angeles, Beijing-Capital and Daxing, Phuket, San Francisco, Sapporo and Xian. Around twenty destinations have been cancelled in Europe, including <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/lyon-helsinki-finnair-20180110.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lyon<\/a> and Nice in France<\/strong>. The suspension of the line between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyages-d-affaires.com\/en\/nice-biarritz-finnair-2019-20180601.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nice and Helsinki<\/a> will take effect in September.<\/p>\n<p>The company is adjusting its traffic plan accordingly. This means that <strong>other cancellations are possible<\/strong>. As travel restrictions are lifted and air travel begins to recover, Finnair says it will be able to change frequencies and routes on its network.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Finland is one of the European Union countries with the strictest controls on the entry of foreign visitors to its territory. The government only allows open borders for countries that have an <strong>maximum of 10 positive cases<\/strong> to covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants. As a result, Finland authorises arrivals from 16 countries. Within the Schengen area, only seven countries are on a \"restricted\" list. <strong>green\" list<\/strong>.
