One-way fares for Finnair

Finnish national airline Finnair is now offering one-way fares, giving passengers greater flexibility.

Finnair offers its customers greater choice and flexibility by introducing a new one-way fare structure valid on its intra-European and domestic flights. These fares will apply from 12 January 2021.

"We want to offer our customers more choice and flexibility. Removing the complexity of the round-trip fare rules makes it easier for customers to choose the best fare. simpler, more transparent purchasing. This means that all our customers benefit from the best fare levels, whatever the length of their stay at the destination. This is what our customers have wanted for a long time", says Ole Orvér, Finnair's Commercial Director.

Single tickets available through all sales channels

These new rates are also available on Finnair.com and the Finnair mobile application. Customers can still choose a return ticket instead of a single ticket. No change is required for bookings made before 12 January 2021.

"We expect demand for travel to increase gradually up to and during the summer, and to continue to grow. we will be increasing our offer accordingly. One-way pricing is a way of stimulating demand and facilitating travel planning in the current situation," adds Ole Orvér.

The airline continues to operate flights from Paris-CDGAccording to Javier Roig, Director of France and Southern Europe, the company has been a regular stopover since the beginning of the covid pandemic.

Finnair will continue all its travel health safety measures in 2021 and will review them regularly as necessary. For example, the use of a mask is still required for all customers and crew members at the airport and on board flights.

To offer its customers peace of mind when planning their trips, Finnair maintains its flexible ticket change policy for bookings made no later than 31 August 2021.

From 2021, Finnair also extends the validity of Finnair Plus levels by six months for all its members. Finnair has also frozen the expiry of Finnair Plus points. This means that acquired points will be extended until the end of August 2021.
