Sydney will join the 25hours catalogue of destinations, with the opening of a new hotel at the end of 2022.

Already announced at Melbournethe 25hours doubles up on the Australian market with the arrival of a new address in Sydney. This 105 rooms is expected to open on Oxford Street by the end of next year. It will occupy a former theatre, which opened more than a century ago. In keeping with its lifestyle positioning, 25hours is set to offer a well-appointed décor. The architectural firm Tonkin Zulaikha Greer will lead the project, while various designers will be responsible for the interior design, including A Work of Substance for the bedrooms and public areas, and Acme & Co for the rooftop bar. The 25hours Sydney hotel, which will occupy an area of 5 550 m²It will also include a state-of-the-art restaurant and fitness centre, as well as meetings & events facilities.

"We are delighted to bring 25 hours to Sydney," says Simon McGrath, CEO of Accor Pacific. "The building is in an incredible location and has huge potential, and the open spaces such as the rooftop bar and central courtyard will allow us to really bring our new hospitality concept to life".

Sydney should be one of the destinations to watch over the coming months, with the hotel scene in full swing. Another Accor brand has recently been announced: The Porter House Hotel Sydney is due to open its doors at the end of the year 2021under the colours of the MGallery. The project, led by Candelapas & Associates, includes 121 rooms, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, two restaurants and an art gallery. In addition, the IHG is also eyeing up the Australian destination. It has just made official the construction of the Indigo Sydney CentreA 110-room hotel in Sydney's CBD, thanks to an agreement with the City Tattersalls Club. This new address is due to open its doors in 2025.
