Ovation Travel acquired by American Express GBT

American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) recently announced the acquisition of the Ovation Travel group, which specialises in the US and UK markets.

American Express GBT is continuing to consolidate its position in the business travel market. TMC has just acquired Ovation Travel Groupfor an undisclosed sum. Present in around a hundred countries around the world - and with 30 offices in the United States and the United Kingdom - the Ovation Travel group has more than 700 employees and some 200 independent travel consultants, managing the travel of around 300,000 travellers. After 36 years in business, Ovation Travel is now part of American Express GBT, and with it the group's various brands, including Lawyers Travel. According to initial information revealed by American Express GBT, these brands will remain in place, and Ovation Travel Group employees will join a division of GBT's Global Customer Partnerships structure, with the same management team.
