After its first residence in West London, in Brentford, Adagio is moving to the east of the British capital with the opening of an aparthotel in Stratford. Long neglected, this East End district is in full renaissance since it was the beating heart of the 2012 Olympic Games. " Stratford is becoming one of the most interesting and dynamic metropolitan areas in the UK." commented Karim Malak, Managing Director of Adagio.

The architectural design of the four-star residence is inspired by the industrial heritage of the area, which was once a major railway construction centre. While the materials and details are reminiscent of the railways, the design of the establishment also reflects Stratford's evolution and its young, dynamic spirit. Visit 136 flats which make up the residence - 100 studios for two people and 36 flats for up to four people, each with a kitchen - embody the new contemporary design being rolled out by Adagio.

Another new feature is that the aparthotel will serve as a pilot site for a digital room directory, where guests will be able to find the answer to their requests by scanning a QR code, without having to resort to paper. Regular customers will find in London Stratford brand fundamentals such as the user-friendly lobby concept The Circle and a grocery shop, as well as a gym.

Perfectly located for business travellers, not far from Canary Wharf Just a short walk from the International Quarter London, the Adagio London Stratford is also a five-minute walk from Stratford Underground Station and the large Westfield Stratford City shopping centre. With restrictions still in place in the UK, the aparthotel is currently reserved for essential stays and should be able to welcome its first business travellers from 17 May.

Sixth Adagio residence in the UK After Brentford, Leicester, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Liverpool, this opening heralds others, notably in Sutton, South London, next summer.
