Vaccination campaigns boost Finnair's network

Finnish flag carrier Finnair has announced the resumption of a network of over 60 destinations this summer. Among the new features is the resumption of services between Nice and Helsinki.

Vaccination campaigns are gaining momentum in Europe and North America, offering fresh hope of recovery for air transport. The airline industry is now anticipating a return in traffic, following the example of Finnair. The Finnish carrier is announcing a network of 65 destinations. With, in particular, the resumption from June of its routes to Nice, Reykjavik, Bodø, Lisbon and Vilnius. Additional frequencies will also be offered to holiday destinations in Greece and Spain, as well as to Milan, Rome and Venice. At United Statesvaccination is opening up new prospects for Finnair. In mid-June, the airline resumed its flights to Chicago and Los Angeles. It will also increase its frequencies on New Yorkoffering up to three flights a week. In Asia, the carrier will continue to operate routes to Bangkok, Hong Kong, SeoulShanghai, Singapore and Tokyo.
