Airlines are back in business as travel restrictions are eased and vaccination campaigns take off. Recently, theNice airport sent a positive signal with a more ambitious summer programme. And now it's his turn, Alitalia will be moving forward again, particularly in the French market. The airline has just announced the Marseille-Rome flights resumemade official on 4 May. From 3 June Next year, Alitalia will once again be operating three flights a week to Marseille airport. These flights will be operated every Monday, Thursday and Sunday.
More broadly, the transalpine route will gain in consistency as summer approaches. By the end of June, Alitalia plans to operate 40 routes a week between France and Italy. The route Paris CDG-Rome Fiumicino will cover the majority of this offer, with more than half of the flights (21). The route Orly-Milan Linate will increase to 9 weekly connections. Another strategic route for business travellers: the Rome-Tunis route will also be stepped up. Seven flights a week will be operated between now and the end of June, according to Alitalia.
