Travellers in the South-East quarter were eagerly awaiting the return of the Emirates colours to the tarmacs at Nice and Lyon. Now they finally know: on Tuesday, the company unveiled its timetable for the recovery, which will be based on theeasing of entry requirementsThis means that vaccinated travellers from the United Arab Emirates will not have to go through quarantine from 9 June. Emirates will now be able to relaunch its operations between Dubai and Nice from 2 Julya week before his return to Lyon scheduled for 9th July.
Emirates will resume operations at these two airports at a rate of four flights a week and will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. These will leave Dubai for Nice every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 8.45am. Arrival on the Côte d'Azur is scheduled for 1.40pm. On the return journey, Emirates will leave Nice airport at 3.55pm for Dubai at 00.10am the following day.
Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport will also be served on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight will take off from Dubai at 2.35pm, arriving in Lyon at 7.30pm. The return flight (EK082) will take place at night, departing from Lyon at 9.45pm and arriving in Dubai at 6.05am the following morning.
The relaunch of these two French services completes the Paris schedule, with 14 weekly flights to and from Roissy, while CDG airport is served by A380.
