
From 13 June, Aeromexico will increase the number of flights departing from Mexico to MadridParis and Amsterdam. This will bring the combined capacity to Europe to more than 170,000 seats, an increase of 83 %.

This decision was taken at a time when Spain announced on 7 June that it was opening its borders fully vaccinated Mexican travellers. The conditions for entry into Spain are a vaccination certificate stating that the doses have been completed at least 14 days before the flight.
Spain accepts EU vaccines as well as the two Chinese vaccines, Sinovac and Sinopharm. The Mexican government has made extensive use of the Sinovac vaccine.
La France also opened its borders to fully vaccinated Mexicans on 9 June.. Travellers must present a PCR or antigen test before boarding the plane. A vaccination certificate is also required. The vaccine must have been administered at least 14 days before the flight. Unlike Spain, France does not accept Chinese vaccines.
On the other hand, the Netherlands continues to restrict the arrival of Mexicans. In the other direction, passengers from all over Europe can travel to Mexico.
While restrictions on travel to Europe continue to ease, Aeromexico plans to increase its operations. The airline will continue to apply the highest standards of health safety and cleanliness on all its flights.
