This summer, Air France will serve nearly 200 destinations worldwideof which more than 110 in Francein Europe and North Africa.
On the short and medium-haul network, in addition to its usual schedule, Air France will be offering 81 seasonal routes this summer, including 23 new ones. More than 40 summer routes will be offered on the domestic network, from Paris and from region to region, in particular to Corsica. This summer, the island will be linked directly to Paris, Bordeaux, Caen, Lille, Lyon, Pau, Rennes, Strasbourg and Nantes.
In Europe, this offer will concern the Mediterranean, in particular the Greece, Portugal, Spain and Italy. Air France will operate flights from both Paris and the regions. Overall, and compared with summer 2019, the company will increase its supply to Greece by almost 80%, and to Portugal by almost 25%.
Air France has also just announced to resume flights to Algeria following an agreement with the local authorities. The carrier will offer two flights a week to Paris CDG-Alger and one flight a week to CDG-Oran.
On long-haul routes, the lifting of the imperative reasons for flying to most Overseas destinations will enable us to strengthen our offer on these routes, which are essential for territorial continuity. Air France will operate up to 3 flights a day this summer to Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe), Fort-de-France (Martinique) and Saint-Denis de La Réunion flights departing from Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles de Gaulle, with connections to the entire Paris-Charles de Gaulle network.Air France.
In July and August 2021, theAir France will represent 65% of the capacity deployed at the same time in 2019. This programme represented only 40% of 2019 capacity in May.
To keep pace with the increase in frequencies, the maintenance teams atAir France are reactivating 10 medium-haul and 12 long-haul aircraft. In total, 181 aircraft Air France will be in operation this summer.
