Transavia strengthens its Montpellier base for the winter season with the launch of daily flights to Orly. The company will be offering up to 25 flights a week by Boeing 737-800 with 189 seats. Sales of these flights began on 2 August.

This new route completes the airline's winter programme from Montpellier. The programme includes four road takeovers (suspended due to Covid): Algiers, Oran (subject to approval by the authorities), Oujda and Seville. The company is also extending its service to Bastia.

Montpellier-Orly is added to 11 other roads served by the airline over the winter. From Montpellier, the carrier serves Brest, Nantes and Rennes in France and Lisbon and Tunis.

To give its customers even greater flexibility in organising their journeys and choice in their travel arrangements, Transavia offers a deferment of tickets with no change fees (excluding fare difference). Passengers can therefore change their ticket up to 2 hours before the flight.

Thanks to travel insurance, a Covid-19 cover is included in all insurance offers offered when booking tickets on Transavia, so that passengers can travel with peace of mind.
